James Harden’s Rockets jersey reportedly retired at Houston strip club

James Harden has reportedly had his Rockets jersey retired at a Houston institution.

No, I’m not talking about the rafters of the Toyota Center. According to a recent post from the Joe Budden Podcast, Harden had his jersey retired at a Houston strip club, where he apparently has become a regular customer.

Wiggins, who said in July he’s worth nothing less than a max contract, was the first-overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft by the Cavs but was promptly traded to the Wolves in the Kevin Love deal as LeBron James returned to Cleveland.

Wolves head coach and president of basketball operations Tom Thibodeau said recently the team is looking to lock up Wiggins, who averaged a career-high 23.6 points this past season along with four rebounds and 2.3 assists.

With Jimmy Butler, Karl-Anthony Towns, Jeff Teague and Wiggins, the Wolves are in position to make the playoffs for the first time since 2004 and are better off letting another team over-pay for Irving’s services moving forward.

Oh yeah, and the Cavaliers, since letting David Griffin walk four days before the NBA Draft because, uh… still don’t have a general manager. It’s a series of missteps which has caused both James and Irving to scratch their heads, if not kick their feet, in frustration.

But if this is purely a basketball — and not a business of basketball — decision by Irving, he must’ve fallen and bumped his head on something hard.
